Unmatched Hardness, Surgical Precision
Discover the ultimate in sharpening performance with the Shimeru Diamond Rolling Sharpener, designed for chefs who demand durability, speed, and refined precision. Featuring ultra-hard diamond-coated grinding discs in #400 and #1000 grit, this system tackles even the hardest steels with ease.
Why Diamond?
Diamond abrasives are the hardest sharpening material available. The #400 grit disc is ideal for fast edge restoration—removing chips, reshaping blades, and reviving dull edges. The finer #1000 grit disc polishes and refines the blade, creating a razor-sharp edge ready for precise slicing.
How to Use:
Start with the #400 grit to reshape or repair, then switch to the #1000 for fine honing. The rolling action ensures even contact, and the 15°/20° magnetic angle guide locks in perfect geometry for both Western and Japanese-style knives.
Perfect For:
High-carbon and stainless steel knives
Quick reshaping and precision finishing
Pros who want long-lasting sharpening power without water or oil
Crafted from professional-grade, heat-treated high-carbon steel, Shimeru Knives deliver exceptional sharpness, durability, and edge retention. From the first slice, you’ll experience the precision that sets us apart.
Our knives are guaranteed to be the sharpest you’ve ever owned. No exceptions, no compromises—just razor-sharp blades that elevate your culinary experience.
Shimeru Knives feature uniquely designed handles that not only add a sophisticated touch to your kitchen but also provide a comfortable, secure grip for effortless chopping and slicing.
With a double-bevel edge sharpened to 15°—compared to the standard 20-25° of most Western knives—our blades allow for smoother, faster cuts, enhancing your cooking efficiency by 2 to 3 times.

Sold OutIt's okay. Does sharpen the knives, I'll give it that. The rolling mechanism is fine. I guess I just expected more for the price? It feels a bit clunky to me, and changing between the two grit discs is not as quick as I thought it'd be. It gets the job done, my knives are sharper, but I'm not blown away. Probably would have been just as happy with something cheaper.
Ok so I'm not a pro, just a home cook. This made sharpening accessible. I watched a quick video on angle and went to town. The magnets hold the blade at a consistent angle which is the key. My santoku is razor sharp now. It's a clever design that just works.
It's a three-star product for me. Gets the job done. I don't love the plastic housing, makes it feel a bit toy-like even though it's not. The results are good enough for maintaining an edge between professional sharpenings. Wouldn't call it a must-have, but it's useful.
Great results, easy to use. The magnets are strong which is good. I just wish it came with some kind of storage case or stand. Right now it's just sitting in a drawer and I'm worried the diamond rollers might get dinged up. The sharpening itself is top notch though.
Bought this for my dad and he loves it. He said it's much easier than his old whetstone. I tried it myself and it's good. I'd give it five stars if the fine grit was maybe a 2000 or 3000 for a more polished edge. The 1000 leaves a good working edge, just not a mirror finish.
Nice and heavy, feels quality in the hand. The instructions were clear and I had my main knife razor sharp in about five minutes. Very impressed.
Great results, easy to use. I just wish it came with some sort of storage case or cover for the discs, feels a bit exposed to just leave it in the drawer.
Been using it for a few weeks now on my Japanese knives. The build quality is top notch, feels expensive. The results are consistent and my santoku slices through tomatoes like butter again.
It's good, not great. The concept is clever but in practice I find it a bit fiddly to get the blade seated perfectly every time. When it works it's good, but it's not as effortless as I'd hoped.
Arrived next day which was a bonus. Used it on my gyuto and it's honestly like having a new knife. The magnetic hold is really secure, no wobble at all.
Works well, my santoku is lovely and sharp now. The product itself is a bit more industrial looking than I thought from the pictures, but that doesn't affect how it works.
So I was a bit sceptical about a rolling sharpener but this thing is brilliant. My knives are sharper than they've ever been, even the really hard steel ones. The magnets are strong and it feels really solid.
Bought this as a present for my son who's just moved into his own flat. He said it's the best gift he got, his knives are actually usable now.
Cant believe how well this works. I used the 400 grit on an old chef knife that was basically blunt and it brought it right back. The 1000 grit gives it a lovely polish. Really simple to use.
Effective and simple. I've used it on a few different knives now with great results. The handle shape is okay, not the most comfortable for a long sharpening session but for quick jobs it's fine.
So I've been using this for a few weeks now on my main chef's knife and a couple of old ones. Honestly, it's dead easy to use, much simpler than trying to get the angle right on a whetstone. The 400 grit side sorted out a tiny chip in no time, and the 1000 leaves it properly sharp, glides through tomatoes. Came really well packaged too, no complaints.
Got this as a birthday present for the wife who does most of the cooking. She loves it, says it's so much faster than her old oilstone and doesn't make a mess. She's even sharpened her good scissors with it. Great bit of kit for the price.
Works brilliantly on my harder steel knives. For softer German steel it works fine too but you have to be a bit more careful not to take too much off. Good product overall.
Makes sharpening a doddle. I was always nervous about ruining my blades on a stone but this takes the guesswork out. Knives are properly sharp now.
The diamond coating seems really tough, doesn't look worn at all after a few months. It's so much faster than my old pull-through sharpener and gives a better edge.
Been using this weekly on my Japanese gyuto. The 1000 grit finish is perfect for maintenance, gives a lovely polished edge without being too fine. Makes quick work of onions and peppers. Arrived next day which was a bonus. No issues at all.
Ok so I was a bit sceptical about a roller sharpener but it's actually brilliant. The diamond coating feels really aggressive on the coarse side, you can hear it taking metal off. My santoku was in a right state and it's like new now. Handle's a bit plasticky but it does the job.
Works perfectly on my VG10 steel knives, no problem at all. The 1000 grit leaves a really nice finish. Came really well packaged too.
Bought this for my husband who's always moaning about blunt knives. He's chuffed to bits with it, says it's a massive upgrade from the cheap pull-through sharpener he had. He did our whole set in an afternoon. Works a treat.
I was using one of those cheap ceramic rod things before, this is a massive upgrade. The edge it puts on is so much more refined and lasts longer.
